Fashion Friday: Stripes in all their glory
For spring and summer 2011 Elle magazine said, "The pattern of the spring season will be stripes. But these aren’t your average Breton stripes; designers showed stripes across the board from skinny, base toned to bold, electric."
I can't say I'm a big fan of stripes...but seeing new pairings especially like the below photo from Cosmopolitan magazine have opened my eyes up to new ways to wear them. And they are everywhere as I shop around...and even thrift!
The blog Fashionising.com wrote about the above photo they posted from the mag, "Clashes of stripes with other patterns or prints, for example this shot of Nataliya Piro in Cosmopolitan magazine mixing (admittedly non-dominant) stripes with florals. The stripes don't dominate, but in a crowded room the look certainly will."
And, as usual, I love trends that are super versatile...
